"Pradeep Kodikara studied at the City School of Architecture and trained with a number of renowned architects including Surath Wickramasinghe and Geoffrey Bawa before establishing his own practice, Pradeep Kodikara Architecture, in 1997.  He established Zowa Architects a few years ago with his wife, Jineshi Samaraweera, who also studied at the City School of Architecture.  

They strive to incorporate environmentally appropriate design in a manner that eventually renders it a distinct part of the architecture. A contemporary Sri Lankan idiom runs through their work, which is shaped by place, time, client and budget." Zowa Architects
